Warlock Builds

Hey, this is MikemanX,

Have you been searching for some Warlock Builds to use?  If you have, then I’m sure you’re well aware of just how annoying that search can be.  A lot of the sites you’ll come across will spam 15-20 different builds out there for you to choose from, this only serves to confuse as you don’t need 15-20 builds, you only need a FEW really good ones!

After dealing with all that mess, I finally found the best warlock leveling builds for leveling a warlock as well as warlock pvp builds and have documented them here below…

Note: As good as all this info is, it’s no replacement for a FULL WoW Warlock Guide,  Click Here To See What I Used To Level A Warlock To Level 80 In Less Than 1 Weeks Time >>

So back to the warlock builds…A lot of people these days choose to level in Demonology due to the increased attack power it gives your summon.  Here’s a Demon tanking warlock leveling build (11/55/5):

Improved Corruption 5/5
Improved Life Tap 2/2
Soul Siphon 2/2

Demonology

Fel Synergy 2/2
Improved Health Funnel 2/2
Demonic Brutality 3/3
Fel Vitality 3/3
Soul Link 1/1
Fel Domination 1/1
Demonic Aegis 3/3
Unholy Power 5/5
Master Summoner 2/2
Mana Feed 1/1
Master Conjuror 2/2
Master Demonologist 5/5

Demonic Tactics 5/5
Improved Demonic Tactics 3/3

Demonic Pact 5/5

This warlock build will need to be changed quite a bit though if you want to have a serious go at warlock pvp, you’ll want to switch over to a heavy affliction build such as (54/17/0):

Demonology: Demonic Embrace 3/3, Fel Synergy 2/2, Improved Health Funnel 2/2, Fel Vitality 3/3, Soul Link 1/1, Fel Domination 1/1, Demonic Aegis 3/3, Master Summoner 2/2
Now, once I finished all this research into finding the best warlock builds, I put the above mentioned warlock leveling build into practice..however I noticed I was not having the results that I had expected…

I was leveling WAY too slow!

I couldn’t believe it.  I had studied this thing to death, found the best warlock builds, the best warlock leveling builds but I was finding the leveling process slow after level 15…

I decided to ask a fellow guidie who I knew power leveled for advice.  He basically told me that I was a noob if I thought that I’d get anywhere with what the warlock builds I had and that I needed to get a proper warlock leveling guide.  He mentioned he used the Team iDemise Leveling guide and that he used it for not just his lock but his other characters as well.  He also told me that if I’m not using that I’m pretty much wasting my time, lol.

So What Is The Team iDemise Leveling Guide?

Well after that little chat I decided to look into this program myself.  I found out it was an in-game add-on that places a large green arrow in front of your character that points you to quests you need to pick up, monsters you need to kill off and when and where you need to go to cash in your quests.  By following the sequence laid out, you are automatically leveling at the optimal rate.

You also are given a dialogue box which shows you the quest sequence you are to undertake, so you may see:

Kill 5 Bloodspore Harvesters in the Borean Tundra for “Vermin Extermination” at (15,42)
Obtain 10 Tempest Motes from Enraged Tempests for “Motes of the Enraged” at (13,32)
Turn in the “Vermin Extermination” Quest to Scout Tungok

Now I did pick this up and upon using it with one of my warlock builds I did notice a drastic change in my leveling speed…however nothing is perfect, there were a few things I had issues with..

CONS:

  • In the beginning they had an HTML version of the in-game guide as well which I often times used.  For some reason, they took that down :/
  • They should give more videos showing how to do the hardest quests in the game, also more class specific leveling info would be nice.

PROS:

  • You get a Map Mod which loads on your mini-map and shows you visually what to do next.
  • You also have the giant green arrow which makes leveling quite simple.
  • You won’t get in trouble with Blizz over this, it’s not a hack or cheat.
  • This is not just a warlock leveling guide, it can be used for other classes.
  • Lifetime updates to the software and access to a member’s only area
  • 60 day money back guarantee.

Final Thoughts:

If you’re still frustrated after trying out the above warlock builds and want to avoid the headache of slow leveling, you might want to look into this guide..

I’ve been using it for several of my characters now, each time it’s taken 7-10 in-game days to level to 80.  It’s let me play classes I wouldn’t have had time for otherwise, which is cool.
